Deal With It LeBron
So I know it's been quite a while since I've posted anything, but people I've been busy. Finals week sucks up your life and then I was in Cincinnati literally all day yesterday for my sister's graduation, which we all know is important. Her final project (she is an interior design grad now) was simply unreal. She was working on it tirelessly I know, so a shout out to her for finally getting through it. She deserves it.
A lot has been going on since my last post but I'm going to try and make this pretty quick.
Finals suck, I mean let's be real. I'm really glad they are all over with, and am happy with my grades thus far but of course I'm still waiting on my history grade to be posted. At least my TA is consistent. It is great to be home that is for sure, sleeping in my own bed was definitely missed. I also missed mothers cooking, which by itself is a good enough reason to come home.
Ok, let's get to the good stuff. The Finals concluded tonight, and I couldn't be more happy. Dirk Nowitzki. That's all that needs to be said. No one besides him, Jason Kidd, Jason Terry, and Mark Cuban (he has been quiet the whole series, let's give him some credit) deserve this thing more. And it just goes to show that it takes a TEAM to win championships, not just three guys.
LeBron, Wade, and Bosh make plays and are fun to watch don't get me wrong, but I'm sorry. Karma is a bitch guys. And she reared her ugly head at you tonight. After LeBron's "Decision" to take his talents to South Beach and the whole welcome party those three players got you can't help but be happy they lost. You can't go on national TV and show up everyone around the league and expect to not be disliked by the rest of the teams. You just can't.
I loved LeBron before he left. I mean come on. Ohio guy, unbelievable athlete, and I watched him in high school. But it was evident in this series that he along with Wade and Bosh didn't know who to give the ball to in crunch time and didn't have that killer instinct. Down the stretch you knew who the Mavs were going to (Dirk) and even if he didn't shoot the ball he was smart about what he did with it, getting it to Jason Terry who was hotter than a pistol tonight.
It was well deserved, and well needed for every Ohio fan especially those from Believeland. I'm beyond happy that the Mavs pulled out the W in six and didn't give the Heat any idea that they were still in it. Now they have to go home and think about all the people they let down, including themselves. I mean, hopefully they can become a little bit better men and not tell everyone how amazing they are and how great they are going to be.
Go to the gym LeBron and Wade. Play one on one and see who wins. Whoever does should take the shot at the end and WANT THE BALL.
And maybe they should learn some German and try to talk to Dirk about how to shoot the rock like he does and do it with class.
Proud Buckeye who is ecstatic the "King" didn't get a ring,

Oh and by the way, Terrelle Pryor is an idiot. For all you Buckeye haters, I know the football program has messed up and made mistakes. But Pryor is gone. Finally. I hope he likes working at McDonald's for the rest of his life. #readyforBraxton
