Repetition

So it's been a while since I've posted, and the only excuse that I have regarding why I haven't done anything about it is because nothing really exciting has happened that I felt was worthy of me talking about. My life has become repetitive, and even though I knew it was going to become like this, it really is getting old. Work sucks, especially last night because we had an hour and a half meeting before work began so that set everything back, and I did not leave the complex until 11:30. The meeting was about how we are switching to some sort of a points system that is based upon work performance as well as attendance. The system will not begin until September 1st, so I'm not really worried about it too much because I'm not planning on being there too much into September before I go back to school.

Like I said, I didn't leave until 11:30 or so last night which really was the pits, but I must say that I did fairly well yesterday while I was working. I was pulling rate or better for the majority of my picks, and only had a few times that I was like the 75-80% range. The worst was when a whole bunch of tomatoes fell over on me and made a huge mess. So that really screwed my rate and pissed me off, but whatever. I'm passed it. Just need to get through today and tomorrow hopefully getting out early each day so I can get to my day off.

As I'm sure all of you know, it is ungodly hot outside. I mowed a lawn this morning, starting at 9:30 or so, and it wasn't a half hour and I was drenched in sweat. It literally looked and felt like I had just gotten into and out of the shower. You know it's hot when your mowing the grass and your hands get all pruny because it's too wet. All because of sweat. All because of the heat. It is absolutely ridiculous outside, and I feel bad for everyone's air conditioner, because those things have to be working so hard and exerting so much energy. I also feel for those people who do not have air conditioning, because I know that I am spoiled in having it. It has to just be brutal trying to sleep in this weather without the comfort of air conditioning. I'm praying for a break in the heat for my birthday next week, but I know as well as everyone else that it is most likely not going to happen. It's a nice dream though.

That's all for now, I'm going to get some grub and get ready to go to work again. Keep cool everyone.
