Make That Money

I don't want to get into a situation where all I do is bitch about my new job, so I promise that this post will be the last one about it for a while. It's not right for me to continue and belittle myself and how much it sucks doing what I do for 8+ hours a day, because after all I was the one who applied for and wanted this job. It pays really well (although this has not been seen yet because I haven't gotten paid) and gives me something to do that keeps me moving around. I have to go to work in a little bit and even though I had originally thought that I was going to get the weekend off I found out yesterday that I must work Sunday because I asked off for next Saturday to go to a wedding with a friend. Mother and sister got me a sweet tie for that though, so I'm looking forward to it.

Both today and yesterday I mowed grass, yesterday at home and today at a friends place right down the road. Even though I naturally don't get paid for doing my own lawn, I did today which is always nice. This summer is quickly becoming like the past two summers, where all I do is whatever I can to make money. The job is different that years past sure, but mowing grass and helping neighbors is the same. And that's better because in the words of the great receiver Randy Moss, it's "Straight Cash Homey" . That interview is hilarious, and I hope you click that link and enjoy it.

That's about it for now, because I've gotta be at work in about a half hour and have to prepare my dinner still. Plus I can't take my eyes off of Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray at Wimbledon. These guys are so good.

Have a great day and enjoy the weekend, rumor has it the weather is supposed to be really nice.
