Christmas Vacation, The Near End of the NFL Regular Season, and MAD IMPORTANT NEWS

Alright people, this is going to be real brief-I have a frozen pizza in the oven and Breaking Bad to watch. Just wanted to get something down before the end of 2012 seeing as how it's been three months since that has happened. Sorry I'm not sorry.

I know it has been a while-a long while at that since something new has been posted on here. Again I apologize but as stated in my last post semesters SUCK and consumed my life along with work, sporting events, that lovely girl of mine, and some other personal family things that I would rather not discuss.

Christmas vacation got off to a rip roarin' start in Columbus for me as the traditional Ugly Christmas Sweater parties were in full force again. If we are friends on Facebook you can see what I wore. Must say it was pretty dope. I came home to the good ole 937 the day after it. Many people (including my sisters and my parents) asked me why I chose to come home so early on break when I could have stayed and worked some more to make more money. The answer is simple: I was out of food and did not want to go back to Kroger again to deal with the heathens that walk that place around the holidays. And who wouldn't want to go home if they could get home cooked meals 24/7?

Anyways, my break has consisted of video gaming, sleeping, eating that wonderful food I just mentioned, and feeding addictions to a couple television shows. Both Suits and Breaking Bad were introduced to me a little before break by a pair of my roommates and needless to say they are not engraved in my head. Being able to watch them online is unreal too, but there are no commercials (if you look in the right place) and it is free. I highly recommend Suits to those of you who have a law background as well as anyone else who likes to look at attractive people on screen doing badass things. Harvey Spector (Gabriel Macht) is THE man and Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) is someone any guy would love to be because he has a photographic memory, gets to work with someone like Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle-WOW), and is a decent looking guy who becomes a lawyer in NYC without even having a law degree. Hence, badass. It is definitely pretty high on my list.

I am only about halfway through the first season of Breaking Bad, but have a goal set to be at least finished with the second one before going back to school next month. Game on.

Now to sports. The final weekend of the NFL regular season is upon us and teams are vying for playoff spots. I am not going to go through all the scenarios for seedings and all that other hoopla, one because I don't really care due to Green Bay doing their part and are already being in, and two because you could just click this and read it for yourself. You are welcome. Like I said, I am happy that the Packers are already in because Smokin' Jay Cutler and the Bears completely blew up so GB won the division and I am really impartial if they get the #2 or #3 seed. And for all you Bengal fans out there who have been talking trash to me about your team making the playoffs, please stop. Please. Get past the first round and then we will talk.

No matter what, I look forward to watching Green Bay on Sunday try to stop Adrian Peterson (dude's unbelievable) from breaking Eric Dickerson's single season rushing record as well as seeing them in the playoffs. The NFL playoffs are always a beautiful way to start off the New Year. It is also nothing short of fantastic that we get to watch them this year because the world did not end on December 21-I was so stoked. Words would not have been able to describe my frustration if it did end due to how much cleaning I did in the house the day before. It all would have gone to waste.

Lastly, here is a bit of important news. I am all but shutting down this blog. Don't fret, I promise it will be ok. In one of my classes this past semester we had to create a few blogs to begin writing on them (obvi). Thus birthed Athletic and Sporty Sports (still working on the layout) and Stadium Nachos. You are welcome to continue to read me on those, and I will be tweeting out and posting to Facebook my latest entries on them. If you choose not to then well, it was nice knowing you. It's not like too many people read this anyways. Thanks for all who did though, and I wish everyone a blessed end to 2012 and a fresh start in 2013. GO BUCKEYES
