Closing The Book On Nebraska

Now, I said to myself that I was going to blog before I left for the great Midwest last Friday. That did not happen of course, as all of my three readers will be able to attest, and for that I apologize. I simply ran out of time, which I know is not a very good excuse but it is the best I've got. I was not able to write anything on here until just now because of many obvious reasons. The most obvious was my trip to Huskerland this past weekend. Now, I had stated three things that I was rather curious about in my last post, so I plan on revisiting them during this post. Before I get into that though, I must say that I had one helluva time in Nebraska. Sure driving the thirteen hours apiece there and back and watching Ohio State blow a 21 point 3rd quarter lead was extremely far from enjoyable, but I those are the only two things I have to complain about. The atmosphere was absolutely unheard of, and nearly all the people there were awesome. There were at least five separate instance...

Pants Party?

So, as this school week slowly progresses (come on Friday afternoon) I cannot help but find myself wondering what it's going to be like in a few years when I graduate and move on from Ohio State. As much as I may complain with how busy I "always" am with classes, Mount activities and events, and club basketball conditioning/practices as well as the duties that come along with being the Vice President of a student organization it really does not compare to life ahead. It's the best time of you life. And if you say high school is/was the best time of you life, well, I have no words for you. You may wonder why I am so anxious for Friday to come, and that is because on that afternoon I will be embarking on a trip that I have never done before. That is to Lincoln, Nebraska...

When The Going Is Tough

As I open my laptop to write this blog post during halftime of the Green Bay and Denver football game (Green Bay is ahead 28-17 thanks to Aaron Rodgers' God-like qualities on the field) I can't help but say to myself, "I really never thought things would get this bad." Of course what I am referring to and what you probably already know is that the Buckeyes are just not where they need to be. I know all of the wreckage that came from the tattoo situation really makes things difficult as we try and break in a new coach, quarterback, and everything else but I mean we still are Ohio State. Throughout the summer I continued to be confident and say that we still have guys who can play and we won't take a big step back. Unfortunately, things aren't like that. I mean, it feels like our offense is just stuck in neutral. Freshman Braxton Miller was named the starter after the Miami loss, and after winning last week against lowly Colorado he looked like well, an ...
