My First Legal Drinking Age Post

Hello everybody, and welcome to this, my first blog post as a legal American Drinker. As some of you know, my 21st birthday indeed was yesterday, and even though this was really the only thing I had to drink last night, I still had an awesome day. While I'm assuming all of you will shake your head at me about the Smirnoff Ice, let me explain myself first. I was able to switch shifts with some of my co-workers so I could have Wednesday (my birthday) off. As a result of this, I took advantage of being old enough to drink alcohol on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. I'm told I had a great time, and surely hope that was the case because of the state my body was in yesterday. The day was rough but I suppose that's how you are meant to felt on your 21st birthday. Independent America

So after about two months of being a world class dump and moving through my life acting like I want to have a career in sports journalism and yet doing nothing in terms of writing about sports, here I am. The last month of school was quite a grind, which goes without saying if, like myself, you go to The Ohio State University or another school that acted on the quarter system for the 2011-2012 school year. There is nothing like taking finals in 90+ degree heat while your other friends that you graduated the worm that is high school with post/tweet/Instagram/annoy the hell out of you with photos and statuses about their summer vacations to God knows where. Honestly people, I understand that you are excited to work on getting your skin cancer on while getting hammered on the beach, river, pond, lake, etc. (as we all enjoy) but keep the stuff to a minimum. What do I mean by this? Throw up one status as you are leaving to go to your vacation's destination or send one tweet about it. ...
